About ten years ago I was developing a daily newspaper strip about a mad scientist who gets evicted from his laboratory and has to move to a house in the suburbs.
I got about a dozen strips done before being sidetracked by graduate school, a planning career and a generally busy schedule. (Since then, the mad scientist trope has been done much better by e.g. Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and Venture Brothers.)
